2004 Cruisin' the Coast A Success
Photos - Cruisin' the Coast/Keith Burton

The 2004 Cruisin' the Coast is history but organizers are happy with the results. The event drew 5,365 registered vehicles and thousands of visitors to the 10 day event on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, which began Oct. 3.

The weather could have been better. The last day of the event was marred by Tropical Storm Matthew, which brought rains and gusty wind to the Coast. Rain also was on hand in the late afternoons for much of the event, however participants had a good time.

Here are a few photos of the event across the Coast.

Cities from Oceans to Bay St. Louis are part of the  event. Cruisin' the Coast has become one of the premiere cruises in the country drawing visitors from across the nation.

Much like a Mardi Gras on Wheels, Cruisin' turns the beach highway into a spectacle of brightly painted custom cars as they cruise from one venue to another.
